It was on September 26, 2002 that the Bread Museum, the largest museum dedicated to the theme in the world, opened its doors in the heart of Serra da Estrela Mountain. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the Bread Museum launches the fist edition of the Bread Museum Annual Award.
