International Museum Day 2022
The International Council of Museums (ICOM) established this day in 1977 to raise awareness of the role of museums in the development of society. At the Bread Museum we have prepared a special program for you.

On the evening of May 14, as part of the celebration of International Museum Day, families will be invited to make their own bread that will be baked in the museum’s wood-fired oven, while learning more about the Bread Cycle. Each family will receive a stamp to mark their bread, as was done in the past.
Participation conditions: Free participation. Mandatory prior registration to museum@museudopao.pt; Minimum of 2 people per family; Limited registrations.
nternational museum day – program for schools
On the 18th of May, Portuguese schools are invited to register to participate for free in a Peddypaper on the theme of the bread cycle.
Participation conditions: Free participation. Mandatory prior registration to museum@museudopao.pt; Program for 1st and 2nd cycle children from 6 to 12 years old; Hours available: From 10 am to 11 am; from 11 am to 12 pm; from 2.30pm to 3.30pm; from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Places limited to the participation of 20 to 25 students at each time.
